January 2013 Visiting and Home Teaching Gifts

It's a new year! Get your visiting and home teaching done in style with our cute messages this month.

We are loving the color scheme for our visiting teaching message this month! The message is entitled "The Divine Mission of Jesus Christ: Exemplar."

The message is printed and tucked into a clear cellophane bag, all tied up with a darling tag that reads "As a New Year begins, TAKE 5 to follow in His footsteps," and comes with a yummy "Take 5" candy bar (every girl needs a little chocolate!).

The Home Teaching message for January is called "The Best Time to Plant a Tree" by President Uchtdorf.

We have it bagged in a darling gray chevron bag, stuffed with the message and, of course, treats! The tag on the outside says "The Best Time to Begin is NOW, not LATER" - going right along with the theme of the Now & Later candy inside!

To purchase, please visit our store in Lehi, UT or order online here.

December Visiting Teaching Gifts

December's Visiting Teaching gifts are here!  It is always fun to create gifts around the holiday themes, especially this season.  The title of the message from the Ensign is "The Divine Mission of Jesus Christ:  The Only Begotten Son."

We've used a kraft box (2"x2"4"), filled it with the message (printed on a cream paper), 2 Pioneer Valley buttercream caramels, and a special magnet of Christ.  We received special permission from artist Del Parson (of Utah) to use one of his pictures of Christ, entitled "Jesus of Nazereth."  We added words at the bottom of the magnet "I believe that thou art the Christ, the Son of God," which is a quote from the message.  We hope that sisters nationwide will be able to view this magnet all year long and have it inspire them daily.

The gift looks darling all done up with a strip of paper wrapped around the box (which has different names of Jesus printed all over it), red jute ribbon, and a darling round tag that wishes your sister a very Merry Christmas.

To purchase a December Visiting Teaching gift, visit our store in Lehi, Utah or shop online here.

p.s. We sell Home Teaching Gifts too!  Check out the link above to see December's gift.

12 Days of Christmas Missionary Style

Want a darling package to send to your missionary that is ALL READY to go?  We all have good intentions, but sometimes time slips away and those care packages or other crafts/gifts get put aside.  If you need to send something without all the fuss - let us help!

Each day's card is designed in black and white and starts like this...
"On the (1st) day of Christmas, the Savior gave to me..."
We wanted to emphasize all the many things that the Savior has given all of us.

Here is a brief summary of the candy bars included as well as the "gift" that the Savior has given us on that particular day.  Each card has either a scripture, a quote from a prophet, or lyrics to a song that correlates with the gift.

Day 1 - A "Symphony" of Christmas songs
Day 2 - A gospel that is worth way more than "100 Grand"
Day 3 - A "Sweet" family to enjoy this life with...
Day 4 - An opportunity to be a "Lifesaver" in other's lives...
Day 5 - An "Extra" special way to communicate with Him... Prayer.

You get the idea!  The other candy bars used are:  Pop Rocks, Riesen, Mounds, U-No, Baby Ruth, Take 5, Almond Joy

Each candy bar is placed in a brown paper sack with the card, and closed with polka dot ribbon and the number tag.  We've placed all the gifts inside a kraft gable box with a darling cover tag and topped off with ribbon.

If you'd like to use this for someone other than a missionary, it would work as well!  It doesn't actually say the words "missionary" anywhere, so perfect for a visiting teacher, neighbors, or someone who might need a little "Christ"mas spirit.

{TO NOTE} When purchasing on our website, there is a place to type a personalized message, which we will print out and place in your package before shipping.  We can ship straight to your missionary to save cost on shipping.  Please call 801-768-3549 or email us at orders@pioneerpartyandgift.com with any questions.  BUY HERE NOW

Merry Christmas!

August Visiting Teaching Gift

The August VT message is entitled, "A Society of Holy Women."   The message is printed on a beautiful linen cardstock with a pearl finish... the full message on one side, with one of our favorite quotes from the message on the other.  The quote reads, "By accepting the gift of activity in Relief Society, we become part of what Joseph Smith described as a society 'separate from all the evils of the world... Choice, Virtuous, & Holy.'"  The ornate card is tied with a chocolate brown raffia onto a delicious snickerdoodle cookie (Granny B's), with a "to/from" card tucked in so you can personalize your gift.  The card  would be perfect to hang on one's refrigerator, mirror, or even backed on cardstock and framed.  Enjoy!

The card is really beautiful in person... you won't be disappointed!!
Purchase these on our online shop or in our store in Lehi.
