Sending Love Secretly

Love is in the air!! We sure love this time of year and it is the perfect time to show those special people in your life you love them! We've come up with the perfect way to do just that. It is a little something we call "Sending Love Secretly"
We've made it inexpensive and super easy. All you do is chose a little gift from our store. Below are some examples of items we have (and much more!!) Then we wrap it up in a sweet pink and white damask bag, tied up with the tag that says "Sending You Love Secretly" - for only $1.  You leave us the contact info for the person you want to give the gift to. We will contact that person and let them know they have a surprise secret gift waiting for them at our store and to come on in and pick it up!

We have tons (and I mean tons!!) of goodie bags to chose from.

This is such a fun way to celebrate Valentines! Everyone loves a good surprise. We have already started the secret love sending and customers and friends have been so excited (and surprised) to get a little gift. A great way to make someones day - and just maybe they will pass along the love too!

"Here She Comes...

Miss Utah... "  Every year there are beauty & scholarship pageants held all over the US, including Utah.  With the stages, the lights, the sound, the music, the make-up and all the other things that go into making one night magical, so much time and effort goes unrecognized.  But this year, the committee for Miss Utah came to US for help in saying thanks to all the individuals who put in many hours for that one night.  Here's what we came up with:

So we just put different thank you bags inside a cute brown box with a tag that says: "A box full of THANKS for you!"  How fun is that?!

Congratulations Graduates!

We found the perfect money lei
for graduation and thought
we'd share how to make it:

Items needed:  2 spools of black ribbon (12 feet each),
$100 (in dollar bills), and black paper.

Step 1:  Start folding each dollar bill like a fan, as shown below.

Step 2:  Cut the black paper the same size as a dollar bill.
You will need 100 pieces cut.
Fold them the same as each dollar bill.

Step 3:  You will need 2 dollar fans to make 1 circle.
The same goes for the paper fans.

Step 4:  Take each spool of ribbon and unravel them.  Place one end of each spool together and form a loop.
You will then sew the loop in place.  End result:  a loop with 2 long strands of ribbon coming down.

Step 5:  Now that you have a loop with 2 ends, you can get started tying on the money and paper fans.
Keep in mind that there are 2 ends of ribbon, but you will use them to tie, so in the end, there will only be 1 strand.

Step 6:  Alternate tying the paper and money
using both strands of ribbon,
and soon you will have the completed lei!

If you have any questions, we'd love to help!  Just contact us at our store location for more information.

Wishing all the graduates out there the best!

Make Mother's Day Meaningful...

...by giving a Journal Jar.  This jar includes over 100 questions and topics to write about.  Wouldn't it be nice to have your moms life story all written out by the end of the year?  This year for Mother's Day, ask her to write her story for you by giving her a Journal Jar.  Then, when it's finished... you can copy it all in her handwriting, or you can retype it and give it to everyone in your family for Christmas.  (That's two birds with one stone!)  Call and order your today... they are going fast!

Hats Off to Moms!

Mother's Day is May 9th (that's Sunday for all your slackers out there!) and the gals from Pioneer Party wanted to wish all of you girls out there a Happy Mother's Day because you don't have to be a mom to be caring and nurturing, and that's what Mother's Day is all about!  So our hats are off to you all!  And speaking of hats... we are getting a new shipment of hats in this week.  So come on in and check them out- and if you mention that the hat you are purchasing is a gift for Mother's Day, we will add a "Hats Off to You! Happy Mother's Day!" tag on the hat free of charge!  You just can't beat that!  So come on in- we can't wait to see you!
