April Home & Visiting Teaching

Spring is here and we have the perfect bright & cheerful paper pouch gift for the sisters you visit!  We've lovingly folded a beautiful pink and yellow printed card stock, filled it with a copy of the message from the Ensign, as well as a delicious Hershey chocolate bar.

A small tag is attached to the front that says, "A Message to Inspire & Uplift."  {The theme this month is the "Oath & Covenant of the Priesthood."  Sister Linda K. Burton said that if we memorize the oath and covenant of the priesthood, that the "Holy Ghost will expand your understanding of the priesthood and INSPIRE & UPLIFT you in wonderful ways."}

 In the April Home Teaching message, President Dieter F. Uchtdorf tells a story about a Rabbi and a soap maker...(you'll have to read it to find out more!)... we have a beautiful box of gourmet soap wrapped up for you,  along with the message and of course some darling ribbon.

The title on the front of our wrap says, "Like Soap, Faith Only Works if You Use It."  This will be a great gift for your home teaching families!

March Visiting Teaching Gifts

How Lucky we are to be created in God's image. This March, we are reminded in the monthly Visiting Teaching message to be grateful and remember always that we were created in the image of our God - we can do this through appreciating our talents, gifts, and simply loving ourselves.

The gift we have made for you this March is a beautiful printable that can be used anywhere in your home to remind you all that you are capable, beautiful, talented, important - because you are created in His image.  This printable is tied to a "Granny B." Key Lime sugar cookie - which is green and festive for spring! The ladies you visit will love to see you this month, and they will especially love to receive this gorgeous (and yummy!) treat! Happy March!

President Monson's March 2016 Message "Learn of Me" focuses on being teachers and learners in the gospel. "I invite all Latter-day Saints to ponder their efforts to teach and to learn and to look to the Savior as our Guide in doing so. We know that this "teacher from God" was more than a mere teacher. he who taught us to love the Lord our God with all our hearts, all our souls, all our strength, and all our minds, and to love our neighbor s ourselves, is the Master Teacher and the Exemplar of the perfect life." - Thomas S. Monson

For March's Home Teaching Gift, we have packaged the message with Werther's caramel candies. The spring-inspired tag reads, "The Savior said, 'Learn of me' - We can do this 'Werther' it's through prayer, scripture, or the Holy Ghost."
This beautiful, March-themed gift is one your Home Teaching family will enjoy reading, and eating! Happy March!
