March Home and Visiting Teaching Gifts

March Visiting Teaching Gift comes packaged in a brown paper sack (approximately 5"x7") filled with the message from the Ensign and a handful of Andes Mints (yum!).  A scripture reference from the message is tied onto the outside that says, "I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me."

The design has a small dotted line at the top, so you can cut it off and then use the card for a daily reminder... you can put it on your refrigerator, your bathroom mirror, or use as a bookmark in your scriptures.
Included:  message from the Ensign, 6 Andes Mints, a printable quote to display

For our Home Teaching gift, this darling little box is filled with Russell Stover chocolate mints, the message from the Ensign, and wrapped up with a tag that says, "Marching Onward, Armed with Righteousness!

We were MINT to be in God's Army" - how cute is that!  Your families should love seeing you show up on their doorstep this month!

We have taken a variety of fruit & chocolate snack size pies, added the message from the Ensign, a note that says "God's Love is Sweet as Pie," and wrapped it up in a darling printed paper.

On the outside you will find a die cut heart, ribbon, and a tag that says, "You Are Loved."

What a perfect reminder for all of us!  Enjoy spreading love this month!

January Home & Visiting Teaching

The new year is here and we are excited to see what the leaders of the church are going to teach us through the monthly visiting teaching messages!

This month the title is "The Purpose of Relief Society" - and explains how women have a divine role in the church.

We have designed a darling navy blue and gold handout that includes a package of gum (assorted Extra or Eclipse), the message, and the whole thing folds up into a darling little pouch.  The pouch says "We have a Divine Role - as Sisters, let's Stick Together"

Happy 2017! To celebrate all of your newly-made resolutions, we have come up with a Home Teaching Message crafted toward President Dieter F. Uchtdorf's message about "aiming at the center."

The treat inside are "Pop Corners" chips and the tag says "Don't cut corners. Aim for Christ - He is the center of the Gospel." Hopefully this adorable message and treat will help you and the families you Home teach accomplish the new goals they have set for the year!

November Visiting Teaching Gifts

Fall is definitely here and with that brings leaves, a chill in the air - and baking warm dishes in the kitchen!  So while you get your apron out and finalize your menu for Thanksgiving... think about the words of the prophets from the October General Conference.
We've gathered a few of our favorite quotes and typed up a little menu to share with your sisters... complete with appetizers and dessert.  A chocolate "Cup of Gold" candybar is tucked in the apron so while you read and ponder, you can fill up your belly as well!  The tag on the front of our apron reminds us to "Add the Words of the Prophets to Your Thanksgiving Menu"

May Home & Visiting Teaching

The Visiting and Home Teaching message for May comes from the April session of General Conference.

There were SO many amazing talks and quotes, don't you think?  We chose a few of our favorite one-liners, and designed the handout so they can be easily read and enjoyed.  We've filled a clear plastic pouch (approximately 5.5"x 8.5") with the handout and approximately 15 pieces of delicious orange and cream salt water taffy (it really is so good!).  Finished off with a teal ribbon it's all ready to give, and your sisters will be happy to see you coming!

January Home & Visiting Teaching

Home Teaching:

Everyone wants a clean start with a New Year, right?  We've attached the Home Teaching message from the Ensign to a bottle of hand sanitizer, added some pretty ribbons, and it's ready to go!  The tag reads, "Here's to a Clean Start this New Year."  Keeping it simple is always a good in January!

Visiting Teaching:

It's a New Year and with that comes a brand new start for the monthly themes for Visiting Teaching.  This month the message is on The Family:  A Proclamation to the World.  We have included a copy of the Family Proclamation (a perfect size to keep folded in your scriptures for studying), the message from the Ensign, and a package of Extra gum.  The tag on the outside says "Take the "EXTRA" time to study the Family:  A Proclamation to the World, and Focus on YOUR family this month."  We hope you enjoy your visits this month!

September Home and Visiting Teaching

The September Visiting Teaching gift is all wrapped up in a brown paper sack with a vintage-looking label that reads, "Women Worldwide can Harvest Christlike Virtues & Partake of the Goodness."
Included in the sack is a delicious and easy Peach Cobbler recipe (only 4 ingredients!), the full message from the Ensign, and a package (2.75 oz) of gummy Peach Rings. Your sisters will love it!

Happy 20th anniversary to the Proclamation to the Family! The theme of this month's message is on prayer and how it can strengthen your family. We are encouraged to pray as a family often, and to read the Proclamation once more this month.

Inside of this cellophane bag there is a spiral-bound notebook, a copy of President Eyring's message "Family & Prayer," a copy of the Proclamation that can fit in an 8x10 frame, and another copy of the Proclamation that has been studied like we are encouraged to do once more this month. Happy September, and happy 20th to the Proclamation!

August Home and Visiting Teaching

Who doesn't need a little extra "power" in their life? Our August Visiting Teaching Gift will give you just that! With a Power Performance Energy Bar, a print of the full message from the Ensign (Divine Attributes of Jesus Christ: Meek and Humble), a bookmark highlighting one of the quotes from the message, and a tag on the outside that says, "Humility & Meekness = Power" - you will be all set to visit teach!

The quote on the bookmark is "Being meek does not mean weakness, but it does mean behaving with goodness and kindness, showing strength, serenity, healthy self-worth, and self-control. As we work to develop this attribute, we will find that “humbly submitting our will to the Father brings us the empowerment of God—the power of humility. It is the power to meet life’s adversities, the power of peace, the power of hope, the power of a heart throbbing with a love for and testimony of the Savior Jesus Christ, even the power of redemption." - Elder Ulisses Soares of the Seventy

We loved the idea that as we develop "meekness" we actually create power in our life. We hope you enjoy this month's gift!

The title of the home teaching message from the Ensign is, "Stand as a Light" by President Thomas S. Monson. We've created a fun gift that your family will enjoy eating while they're reading the words from the prophet.

A teal colored berry container is filled with assorted salt water taffy (State Fair Flavor, by Sweets Candy Company), along with a print of the full message from the Ensign, and it's all wrapped up in clear cellophane with a lighthouse shaped tag, that reads, "Shine Your Light a Little Brighter" Happy August!

April Home & Visiting Teaching

We've used a burlap, a satin coral, and yellow dot ribbon to tie it all up. The tag reads, "Have Courage and Be Kind." The title of the message from the Ensign is "The Attributes of Jesus Christ: Without Guile or Hypocrisy"

We think the advice Cinderella's mother gives to her daughter to "Have Courage and Be Kind" fit so well with the theme of the message. It truly takes courage and kindness to be more like Christ, don't you think?

This month's Home Teaching message President Monson "Calls for Courage."

We've included the full message from the April 2015 Ensign, 10 miniature Pixy Stix, and the tag reads, "Dust yourself off and answer President Monson's Call for Courage." The gift itself is about 4"x6"

February Home and Visiting Teaching Gifts

February's Visiting Teaching Gift is one of our favorites so far!

We've styled a darling gift for your sisters; a clear plastic petal container is filled with iridescent grass, the message rolled up, a chocolate heart, and a bottle of finger nail polish.
The title of the message from the Ensign is "The Attributes of Jesus Christ: Without Sin." We've focused on how we should try and follow his example, so our tag says, "Follow Christ's example of a POLISHED life."
Chocolate and polish will vary. The message is in full color, and we've taken the extra time to make it a gift you will be proud to give!

For February's Home Teaching message: Who doesn't want some additional love in their home? This month's message is centered around how we can achieve a change in our hearts, and our message includes Valentine flavors of salt water taffy!

Sounds like the perfect way to spread the love to your Home Teaching Families this month.
