November Home and Visiting Teaching Messages

The visiting teaching gift we've created for you this month is really special.  We have chosen five great quotes from the October session of General Conference, and designed each one into a 3.5" x 5" card.

The quotes that are included:
"We must look at others through the eyes of our Savior." - W. Craig Zwick
"Changing the world begins with strengthening your own family." - Bonnie L. Oscarson
"We cannot control all that happens to us, but we have absolute control over how we respond to the changes."  - W. Christopher Waddell
"The greater the light in our lives, the fewer the shadows." - Ian S. Ardern
"The joy we feel has little to do with the circumstances of our lives and everything to do with the focus of our lives."  - Russell M. Nelson

Each quote is printed on a beautiful pearl card stock.
We've wrapped them all up, added some delicious caramels (made from Utah based company Pioneer Valley), and finished it all off with matching ribbon.

Our November Home Teaching Gift comes with five different quotes (from the October session of General Conference) printed on a beautiful pearl card stock along with a cheese grater filled with chocolate tootsie rolls - which we tie all together with a card that reads, "Be ever so Grate-ful to hear from the servants of the Lord"

For our Home Teaching gift, this darling little box is filled with Russell Stover chocolate mints, the message from the Ensign, and wrapped up with a tag that says, "Marching Onward, Armed with Righteousness!

There were SO many amazing talks and quotes, don't you think?  We chose a few of our favorite one-liners, and designed the handout so they can be easily read and enjoyed.  We've filled a clear plastic pouch (approximately 5.5"x 8.5") with the handout and approximately 15 pieces of delicious orange and cream salt water taffy (it really is so good!).  Finished off with a teal ribbon it's all ready to give, and your sisters will be happy to see you coming!

April Home & Visiting Teaching

April's Visiting Teaching gift is oh so springy and will brighten the day of the sisters you visit teach!

The title of the message is, "Daughters of Our Eternal Father" and we have printed the entire message from the Ensign, along with an additional quote from President Dieter F. Uchtdorf - "You are Something Divine, more beautiful and glorious than you can possibly imagine."  A package of Tic-Tacs is wrapped up inside with a small note reminding us that we are "mint" to feel Heavenly Father's love.

The combination of purple, pink and lime green is just beautiful - we hope you love it!

For April's Home Teaching gift, we have taken a miniature clear favor box, filled it with Reese's peanut butter cups, and included a copy of the message from the Ensign.

The tag reads, "To REESE-eive personal revelation, do your Homework."

March Visiting Teaching Gifts

How Lucky we are to be created in God's image. This March, we are reminded in the monthly Visiting Teaching message to be grateful and remember always that we were created in the image of our God - we can do this through appreciating our talents, gifts, and simply loving ourselves.

The gift we have made for you this March is a beautiful printable that can be used anywhere in your home to remind you all that you are capable, beautiful, talented, important - because you are created in His image.  This printable is tied to a "Granny B." Key Lime sugar cookie - which is green and festive for spring! The ladies you visit will love to see you this month, and they will especially love to receive this gorgeous (and yummy!) treat! Happy March!

President Monson's March 2016 Message "Learn of Me" focuses on being teachers and learners in the gospel. "I invite all Latter-day Saints to ponder their efforts to teach and to learn and to look to the Savior as our Guide in doing so. We know that this "teacher from God" was more than a mere teacher. he who taught us to love the Lord our God with all our hearts, all our souls, all our strength, and all our minds, and to love our neighbor s ourselves, is the Master Teacher and the Exemplar of the perfect life." - Thomas S. Monson

For March's Home Teaching Gift, we have packaged the message with Werther's caramel candies. The spring-inspired tag reads, "The Savior said, 'Learn of me' - We can do this 'Werther' it's through prayer, scripture, or the Holy Ghost."
This beautiful, March-themed gift is one your Home Teaching family will enjoy reading, and eating! Happy March!

December Home & Visiting Teaching

Visiting Teaching:

The visiting teaching gift for December is sure to be a favorite!  All year long, the messages from the Ensign have focused on "The Divine Attributes of Jesus Christ," so we have taken all of those attributes from the whole year and made a beautiful print, which we've used to "wrap" up the treat and message.

The black chalkboard print includes words like; divine, kind, compassionate, full of glory, merciful, obedient, patient, virtuous, forgiving, etc - and wraps around 1/4 pound of chocolate covered cinnamon bears.  A darling tag ties it all together that reads, "Wrap yourself up in Christlike qualities for a Very Merry Christmas"

Home Teaching:

The message from the Ensign this December is written by the Prophet, President Thomas S. Monson.  It is entitled, "Make Time for the Savior."  What a great topic for this time of year!

We've packaged a delicious box of gourmet candy cane sticks, along with the message itself and a tag that reads, "Make TIME for the Savior (and your loved ones) this season."  The tag is designed to look like a clock!  We hope you enjoy your gift giving and home teaching assignments this month!

November Home & Visiting Teaching

Visiting Teaching:

Did Octobers General Conference leave anyone else wanting to read more from the scriptures and the prophets? It did us! So this month we created adorable bookmarks with quotes from conference for you and paired it with a (to DIE for) Kara Chocolate bar. Bookmarks and chocolate? There's nothing better! Good luck reading through the Ensign for reminders and new revelations from conference, and happy snacking on that yummy chocolate!

Home Teaching:

Because the Ensign is filled with the talks from October's General Conference, what better time to give you a few new favorites from the new sessions! This festive fall-themed gift is filled with chocolate sixlets for your family to share and five quotes from conference to keep or to share! This gift is the perfect little "something" to drop off to your families before the craziness of the holidays set in to remind them of the beautiful words we received last month.

April Home & Visiting Teaching

We've used a burlap, a satin coral, and yellow dot ribbon to tie it all up. The tag reads, "Have Courage and Be Kind." The title of the message from the Ensign is "The Attributes of Jesus Christ: Without Guile or Hypocrisy"

We think the advice Cinderella's mother gives to her daughter to "Have Courage and Be Kind" fit so well with the theme of the message. It truly takes courage and kindness to be more like Christ, don't you think?

This month's Home Teaching message President Monson "Calls for Courage."

We've included the full message from the April 2015 Ensign, 10 miniature Pixy Stix, and the tag reads, "Dust yourself off and answer President Monson's Call for Courage." The gift itself is about 4"x6"

This months home teaching message is entitled, "The Prayer of Faith."

We've filled a brown paper window sack with chocolate eyeballs, with a tag that says, "SEEK for guidance & direction in humble prayer."

September Home & Visiting Teaching gifts

The title of September's visiting teaching message is "The Divine Mission of Jesus Christ: Comforter."

We have created a darling gift pouch that is bicycle themed. We've added a package of (sweet & salty) trail mix, the full message from the Ensign, and a tag that reads, "Follow Him on the "trail" to peace & comfort."

This month's Home Teaching message is entitled, "Are We Prepared?" and written by President Thomas S. Monson.

We have made a cute tag that says, "Being prepared is nothing to LAFF about" (using Laffy Taffy candy). The full message from the Ensign, and assorted Laffy Taffy's are tucked inside a manilla envelope ready to give and have your family(s) enjoy!

We love how this turned out and think the sisters you visit will too!
