This month's visiting teaching gift is a must have!  We have designed a bright and cheerful print that can be put into a frame and displayed in your home.  The quote says, "Jesus Christ saves us from sin and death. For that, he is very literally our Savior and Redeemer." (quote from mormon.org) We've included the official message from the April 2014 Ensign, a bag of (Dessert or Tropical flavored) Skittles, and wrapped it up with a darling ribbon.  You'll want to get yourself one JUST for the darling print that can be framed. Enjoy! This month's home teaching gift is so bright and fun!  We've used a chevron printed paper sack, filled it with a spring-themed bag of Lifesavers (24 servings), added the message from the April 2014 Ensign, and tied it all together with a cute egg and ribbon. The day of jokes is coming up soon - and we have some fun tricks up our sleeve! Here are a few of our favorites: Give your husband a scare by bringing home "It's a Girl!" or "It's a Boy!" balloons to announce a fake pregnancy! (order your balloons here and just pick them up!) Tell your kids you made brownies for them - really hype it up and get them excited, then pull out a pan of brown E's! (We suggest having a back up of REAL brownies, otherwise this might be just too mean!) We have a bunch of inexpensive prank items to choose from! Try the mouse or fake poop and set them around the house or office to startle a friend (on a pillow, keyboard, car seat, breakfast plate, etc). Get the fake bullet hole stickers and put on your friends windshield to give them a scare, or try dumping some of our itch powder in your husbands shirt before work! Warmer weather is coming! And with it, picnics, parties, and fun! One of our talented Party Girls made this adorable paper rainbow chain backdrop for one of our St. Patrick's Day displays. Isn't is so cute!? It was super easy - so we thought we'd share! Cut 1 x 9 inch strips of both color and kraft colored paper. (We like the look of backing it with kraft paper, but you don't have to). We cut about 30 for each chain and they are 5 feet long.  Put the color and kraft together, turn into a circle and staple. Thread the next strips through the first circle you made and staple the same way. Continue on until you have a long chain (however long you want). Do whatever colors you want. We chose rainbow colors and love the way it turned out! We used it for a display in our store, but you could use it for a ton of different things!  Hang in front of your window or in your house above the mantel. The visiting teaching message this month (from the Ensign) is entitled, "The Divine Mission of Jesus Christ: Light of the World." We want to include women from all over the world... and remind each other that He is the Light of the World and we are indeed LUCKY to know who He is.  We have created a (vintage inspired) gift that we hope you'll love. An old fashioned map holds the message from the Ensign as well as a chocolate Cup of Gold candy bar. We've adorned the gift with a band of golden cardstock, a lovely green clover, glittered ribbon, and a tag that reads, "Lucky Women Around the World... Look to the Light of the World." We hope you feel as LUCKY as we do to know Christ and share this message with others.  Ribbon and chocolate may vary from description, but know that it will always be "Pioneer Party" approved! Get into the Olympic spirit this year! Our kids love to watch the games and we found some fun, easy crafts to do while watching! This would make for a fun family night too. These are just a few of our favorites from  this  website! This adorable little skier looks so fun (and yummy)! Grab some assorted candies (kisses, kit-kats, jelly beans, gumdrops, etc) and glue or frost together - gingerbread house style! This one just requires some paper, a few milk jug lids, and paint (blue, green, yellow, red, and black)! The snowboard man! You just need some pipe cleaners and a tongue depressor!
