Wanna send the kids off to school with a warm yummy belly full of goodness? Look no more, check out this tasty and easy Pumpkin French Toast Bake, perfect for fall! Sweet and spicy pumpkin french toast is made the night before for an easy, early-morning preparation. Author: Minimalist Baker Recipe type: Breakfast Cuisine: French Toast Serves: 10 INGREDIENTS 5 1/2 - 7 1/2 cups 1-inch bread cubes (depending on type of bread)* 7 large eggs 2 cups milk (any kind)* 1 tsp vanilla extract 1 1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice 1/4 cup pumpkin BUTTER (or 1/2 cup pumpkin puree)* 3-4 tablespoons brown sugar for topping nuts, like pecan or walnuts (optional) INSTRUCTIONS Cut any kind of bread into 1-inch cubes - I recommend a crusty, whole grain variety, but sandwich bread will work, too. Just use enough slice to fill a lightly greased 9x13 baking dish quite full. In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla, pumpkin butter and pie spice until well combi

It's Back to School time! For August's Visiting Teaching gift, we have made a miniature file folder out of scrapbook paper, complete with a set of 5 notecards (with the full message from the Ensign printed) and wrapped it up with twine, a paper clip, and a tag that reads, "TAKE NOTE of the Divine Mission of Jesus Christ." A package of gum is tucked in the folder as an extra little treat after your sister does her "homework." The August First Presidency Message from the Ensign is written by President Dieter F. Uchtdorf, entitled "God's Harvest." (It's a great article!) We've included the full message, along with a family size bag of sunflower seeds and wrapped it up with a darling tag and ribbon. The tag reads, "What we sow, we reap. That is the law of God's harvest."
